Best GLP-1 tracking apps in 2026, compared honestly

Ratings and prices checked July 13, 2026. Full disclosure below.

If you're on Zepbound, Wegovy, Mounjaro, Ozempic or an oral GLP-1, a tracker does three jobs: it makes sure you never miss or double a dose, it remembers which injection site you used, and it turns months of scattered notes into something you can actually show your doctor.

Five apps dominate this category on iPhone. Here's how they compare — including where each one falls short.

Disclosure: ShotDay (ranked #3) is our app. We've tried to be scrupulously fair to the others — every strength listed for a rival is real, and every criticism is sourced from public App Store reviews. Judge for yourself.

1Shotsy — the feature king

Shotsy is the category leader for a reason: it does the most. Estimated medication-levels chart, nutrition logging (calories, protein, water, fiber), multi-medication support, iCloud sync, PDF/CSV/JSON export, custom dashboards, themes, and a maintenance mode for people at goal weight.

Where it falls short: nearly everything above is behind the subscription, including the estimated-levels chart — the single most-complained-about paywall in its own reviews. Long-time users are also vocal about repeated price increases (the annual plan has climbed from $29.99 to $59.99). The 20+ screen onboarding quiz before you can log anything divides opinion, and if you want an app that doesn't push calorie tracking, Shotsy's nutrition focus may feel like the diet-app energy you were trying to leave behind.

2MeAgain — the guided coach

MeAgain grew fast in 2026 on the strength of a polished, coach-like experience and strong identity-first branding ("me, again"). Clean visuals, structured check-ins, and a big community of users.

Where it falls short: pricing. MeAgain bills weekly — around $4.99/week, which compounds to roughly $260/year, the most expensive option in this list by a wide margin. Reviews frequently mention hitting a hard paywall early. If you're paying out of pocket for the medication itself, that math deserves a second look.

3ShotDay — the calm, private one Ours

ShotDay is built around one idea: your GLP-1 routine should feel calm, not gamified, and your health data should stay yours. There's no account and no cloud — everything lives on your iPhone. The log is free forever: shots, pills, reminders, Lock Screen shot-day countdown, an injection-site Body Map with cooldown tracking, and the estimated medication-levels chart that others paywall.

Two things nobody else does: food-noise check-ins (a 0–10 dial for the thing everyone on these meds actually talks about) and an overlay of your medication levels against how quiet the food noise feels — so you can see whether that Thursday ravenousness lines up with your trough day.

Where it falls short: it's new (launched July 2026), so there's no multi-year review history yet. No nutrition logging by design — if you want calorie tracking in the same app, Shotsy fits better. Pro (full-history trends, doctor-ready PDF report, Apple Health sync, CSV) is $4.99/month, $29.99/year with a 7-day trial, or $49.99 once for lifetime — deliberately about half the going rate, with a lifetime option that costs less than one year of MeAgain.

4DreamMe — the motivational pet

DreamMe wraps GLP-1 tracking in a virtual-pet layer: log consistently and your companion thrives. For people who bounce off spreadsheet-style apps, the gimmick genuinely works — its reviews are full of users who finally stuck with tracking.

Where it falls short: the pet is the product. If you want deeper data — levels estimates, exportable reports, site-rotation logic — you'll outgrow it. And a tamagotchi aesthetic isn't for everyone managing a serious medication.

5Glapp — the cautionary tale

Glapp earned genuine goodwill in early 2026 as a smart, free tracker with AI-assisted logging. Then, in July 2026, it moved core features behind "Glapp Max" — up to $9.99/week — overnight. Its own recent reviews tell the story: long-time users describing the change as a bait-and-switch.

Where it falls short: trust, which is the whole ballgame for an app holding your health data. The underlying product remains capable, and if the pricing stabilizes it may deserve a second chance. For now, the reviews speak.
